![]() ![]() This is a problem that plagues the album throughout as despite frontman Wes Scantlin being in the band since 1991 this album just feels like he’s learned nothing and not grown at all as a musician. It feels like it was written by an angsty teenager not a group of men in their late 40s. Broadly it’s about feeling like you’re falling down and how no one understands you and how you have no idea how it feels to feel low. Then we get to the lyrics which are some of the most generic and boring lyrics ever. So when I first started playing the album and I heard a pretty decent guitar riff from the opening track You Don’t Know I was thinking “huh this isn’t too bad”. But hey I’m always one to give bands and artists a chance so who knows maybe this might be good? ![]() They have one song I like which is their big hit Blurry from their 2001 album Come Clean. Aside from that I find most of their music kind of bland and forgettable from what little I’ve heard. I know this band has fans but personally I’ve never been able to get into them. ![]() Seriously who was begging for new music from Puddle Of Mudd? Anyone?
